Letter from the Executive Board
Dear Delegates, We are your Executive Board for the World Health Organisation, Samaira Savla, Amyrah Badani and Hridhaan Muni. We welcome each and every one of you to DBISMUN 2025!
We urge you to bring your A-game to this conference, whether it’s asking questions, giving speeches or forming resolutions. The World Health Organisation talks about health inequalities, access to healthcare and healthcare standards. Make sure you focus on your country's policies, debate about health challenges and propose viable solutions. Every citizen deserves to live a safe and healthy life.
A Model-UN allows you to have diplomatic discussions about global issues, negotiate and collaborate with other nations, represent your country, and debate international politics. We guarantee that this conference will build your public speaking, debate and research skills, while enhancing your global awareness and perspectives. Take advantage of this opportunity to express your opinions and argue your ideas on the floor, but be prepared for rebuttals and inquiries. We promise to make your MUN experience fun-filled, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned delegate.
Don’t forget to carry your confidence and social skills, which are even more important than your debating skills. Communicate with your delegates correctly to form blocs and alliances, and be confident enough to share your points with everyone.
As members of our transnational society, focusing on healthcare standards in refugee areas is vital. The global refugee crisis has led to the displacement of numerous individuals. It is important for them to receive essential healthcare services like: maternal treatment, emergency care and disease prevention. There is continued inequality and weak coordination between nations. We encourage you to create a global baseline for medical services and collaborate with countries to ensure sufficient healthcare for refugees.
We are looking forward to seeing fruitful debates and discussions. All the best!
Yours sincerely, Your Executive Board of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Samaira Savla, Amyrah Badani and Hridhaan Muni.
