How to dress up for the MUN

Once you’re done with all your research, the next big problem to tackle is the clothes you will be wearing for the DBISMUN. While everyone wants to wear something “aesthetic”, it is a professional event, and your clothes need to reflect that. Here are some pointers to help with preparing your outfit for the MUN:

1. Avoid wearing items like hoodies, fancy jackets, jeans and other such casual clothing items
2. Wear formals, specifically Western formals
3. Traditional clothes should not be worn unless mentioned
4. Your outfit should typically consist of a dress shirt and a blazer, with a tie if you want. Trousers or skirts can be worn as a base for your outfit
5. Since the event is professional, any skirts worn should be a minimum of knee length
6. The shoes worn should be formal, sandals and slippers are not acceptable
